Great notice, dear friend!

I add all the volumes to the Scribd Collection, previously some notices was added in our main website. But the publication of this 4th volume is really a great notice to all of us!

Patrology’s office is no longer limited to the study,
in themselves alone, of the writings of individual Fathers,
or of individual writings of the Fathers;
it must also set forth the active forces that are common to all,
and the relations of all to their own world
and their own time.

Hmmm... nope.

Impossible to display these items in our Scribd account.

I'm uploading them to our server, then i will publish a notice in each one volume, with the link for direct download from our server, and IA original place/formats.

So strange, the volume with the Syriac Old and New testament have the same trouble. Maybe some limitation of Scribd to large documents...?

I hope Scribd do not transform itself into a Issuu limited service...

????

I can not do these items be displayed in my browser...

Then, maybe some geographical restriction? I try in both places: at home and work, and no good result.

But if your are able to see them, i think in other places these files can be displayed correctly, and this is our goal, even as we do not can have direct access to these contents.

Thanks dear friend for your notices.

Francisco.

Sorry for this new reply, i forget announce the 7 files are stored in our Bibliotheca.

Only enter to this place:

http://bibliotheca.plgo.org/NovaePatrumBibliotheca/

...and you will be able to download them directly from our server.

I will add this noon a notice about the original place of publication of these files, and the address in IA to download the other file formats available.

Salus.

I just found this volume ("tomus octavus"), but I'm not sure if it belongs to this collection (I have not found references in Mai biography about this eighth volume).

Sorry for delay in this answer, dear Philipos.

I was looking for a e-book but from Mexico the download is impossible. I use a proxy to get access to such volume.

In the first pages, the Dedicatory indicates that this is a 'posthumous' volume, done under the general plan/idea of the work started by Mai, trying to accomplish the incomplete tasks.

By this reason, the date of publishing is very late -1871, around 20 years after the first imprint-, and was realized by Josephus Cozza, who seems to be working in some of the earliest editions of the Vatican Codex, around the 1868 year.

I'm trying to update the NPB adding this late volume, which is by itself, a great and magnificent notice.

Salus!
